Profinter Montchoisy, a specialist in recruitment for technical and construction trades, is looking for one of its clients in Geneva for a CNC / Conventional Milling Machinist to strengthen their team and work on production machine tools.

Your tasks

• Manufacture of mechanical parts on conventional and numerically controlled machines.
• Programming, setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Machining parts on 3 to 5 axis milling machines.
• Working with Heidenhain controls.
• Conventional and CNC turning on CMZ machines, if possible.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Performing adjustments, selecting tools and controlling machining parameters.
• Dimensional inspection of manufactured parts using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Ensuring the quality and conformity of produced parts.
• Carrying out first-level maintenance of machines.
• Complying with safety instructions, deadlines and quality requirements.

Profile sought

• Training as a production mechanic, multi-skilled mechanic, CNC mechanic or equivalent training.
• Proven experience in CNC and/or conventional milling.
• Mastery of machining on 3 to 5 axis machines.
• Good knowledge of Heidenhain numerical control.
• Experience in conventional and CNC turning, ideally on CMZ machines.
• Very good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Autonomy, precision and rigour in work.
• Team spirit and good adaptability.
• Professional experience in Switzerland appreciated.
• Driving licence, a plus.
