About the job
Head of Department Central Services
The Central Services department, as an internal service provider, ensures important cross-sectional tasks for the entire Centre for Social Affairs. These include Human Resources, Finance, Graphics and Communication, IT, Facility Management, Quality, as well as Legal Services for the Executive Management and the Association Management. The department supports employees and managers at the three locations, thereby creating the conditions for a professional and smooth operational process.
As the previous post holder is seeking new professional opportunities after eleven successful years with us, the position is to be newly filled from December 2026 or by agreement.
- Participation in the Executive Management of the Centre for Social Affairs
- Responsibility for the operational implementation and further development of services in the areas of HR, Finance, IT, Communication, Facility Management, Quality, and Legal Services
- Ensuring quality, knowledge transfer, and professional development within your department and beyond
- Overall coordination of cross-location and cross-departmental collaboration
- Participation in internal and external working groups, projects, and specialist committees
- Personnel management, promotion, and support of employees
- Collaboration with municipalities, specialist offices, authorities, and other stakeholders
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Public Management, or a comparable tertiary-level qualification
- Good knowledge and experience in several areas such as Finance and Accounting, HR, IT, Project Management, or Organisational Development
- Excellent communication skills and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable field as well as leadership training and leadership experience
- High reliability and resilience and openness to change
- Integrative, mature, and trustworthy personality
