Your main tasks

• Advising Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) on the transformation of procurement in an increasingly digital, data-driven and volatile market environment
• Close collaboration with our clients to develop and implement innovative solutions for the next generation of procurement
• Advising our clients on digital transformation with a focus on sustainable improvements in revenue, efficiency and profitability
• Utilising modern technologies (e.g. AI-based solutions, advanced analytics, automation and digital source-to-pay platforms) to successfully implement transformation initiatives
• Taking responsibility within project teams (e.g. for individual work packages) and collaborating with colleagues from various areas such as Finance, Tax and Strategy & Transactions
• Contributing to the development and advancement of methods, concepts and best practices within our team
• Continuously developing your professional and methodological skills in management consulting and procurement

What we are looking for

• You have relevant professional experience (approx. 2–5 years) in procurement – either in a consultancy or in industry, ideally in the context of transformation projects
• You bring experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Procurement strategy & category management
  • Procurement operating model
  • Supplier management & supplier innovation
  • Source-to-pay processes
• Initial experience in coordinating (sub-)project teams is an advantage
• You are interested in digital technologies and their application in procurement and ideally already have some practical experience with procurement technologies (e.g. SAP Ariba, Zycus, Archlet, ORO Labs, Zip, Omnea, Fairmarkit or comparable solutions)
• You have very good German and English skills
• You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset. What you know is important – but your attitude makes the difference. We are looking for personalities who are innovative, flexible in responding to change and successful in a dynamic environment.
• You are curious and goal-oriented. You recognise opportunities where others see challenges, ask the right questions and develop convincing solutions for our clients.
• You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented and can prepare complex topics clearly and appropriately for the target audience.
