In this role, you apply your know-how in operational purchasing where it matters: close to internal stakeholders, close to the supplier market, and right in the middle of day-to-day business. You support our strategic procurement, ensure reliable processes, and keep an overview even when many things are happening simultaneously. In our team of operational and strategic buyers, there is always a lot going on and sometimes it can be a bit hectic. You have to be able to rely on each other and work well as a team. Operational Buyer 80-100%
This is what your day looks like
- At the heart of it: You independently handle operational tasks in procurement and support the strategic team in all purchasing activities.
- You conduct simple tenders independently and draft contracts based on existing templates.
- In doing so, you maintain our existing supplier base and keep the relevant information well organised.
- As the operational contact person, you accompany our future contract management tool as well as Power BI solutions in daily use.
- In exchange with various stakeholders, you ensure that administrative tasks around contracts, terminations, and correspondence are reliably completed.
What you bring with you
- First and foremost: You have initial experience in operational purchasing in the service industry, ideally in the areas of software, hardware, professional services, and personnel leasing.
- You have completed commercial training; further education in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist with a federal certificate) is a plus.
- You work confidently with procurement instruments and procurement processes and also bring experience with well-known ERP systems.
- Very good MS Office skills help you to complete your tasks efficiently and in a structured manner.
- You communicate very well in German, both orally and in writing; English is an advantage.
