About the job
Your tasks:
- Checking and monitoring the creditworthiness of customers in the German- and French-speaking parts of Switzerland
- Early identification of potential high-risk customers
- Proactive contact to avoid payment delays and defaults
- Agreement and monitoring of individual instalment arrangements
- Support of existing customers as well as checking potential new customers
- Initiation and execution of debt collection procedures
- Registration of outstanding claims in bankruptcy proceedings
- Maintenance, reconciliation and clearing of debtor accounts
- Ensuring high data quality and correct account management
- Supporting the finance and credit control team with additional tasks
- Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in credit control, receivables management, debt collection or a comparable position
- Enjoyment of customer contact and working with numbers
- Fluent German and French skills, both spoken and written
- Good English skills
- Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle is an advantage
- Independent, careful and structured way of working
