The Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopaedic clinics in Switzerland, with an attached centre for paraplegia and international recognition.
In our hospital kitchen, menus are prepared daily for around 150 patients and approximately 550 to 650 staff. From 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a motivated cook to join our kitchen team

Your tasks
- Menu preparation for patients and staff
- Assistance at events
- Support in training apprentices
- Compliance with food regulations and hygiene standards
- Working with the IT programme Sanalogic
Your profile
- Basic training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Several years of professional experience
- Additional training as a diet cook is an advantage
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Independent and economical working style
