Your mission:

The mandates for the Federal Office of Energy (FOE), notably ProKilowatt and EffEL, form the core of the position. You ensure the execution of these programmes and examine the eligibility of received applications as well as their alignment with the relevant programmes. In parallel, you develop and support innovation projects with companies in the energy and industrial sectors.

Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to the execution of FOE programmes, notably ProKilowatt and EffEL, and assess the eligibility of received applications as well as their alignment with the objectives, criteria and requirements of the relevant programmes.
• Identify opportunities, acquire new collaborative projects and coordinate their implementation with partners.
• Support SMEs and start-ups in their innovation projects and assist them in their development.
• Support the development of new technologies: assess techno-commercial feasibility, identify industrial partners, handle intellectual property (IP) aspects, analyse priority markets and trends.
• Develop and animate our network in the energy sector.

Your profile:

• Degree in engineering from EPF, HES or equivalent training, with proven experience in the energy field.
• Ability to analyse applications against programme criteria and assess the techno-economic feasibility of innovation projects, providing clear and reasoned conclusions.
• Experience in project management and ability to structure activities, coordinate partners and adapt priorities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, good listening skills and enthusiasm for exchanges with companies, public institutions and other sector actors.
• Ability to work in French and German, both spoken and written, and to use English in a professional context.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical efficiency, support application evaluation or innovation support are assets.
