For our client, a company specialised in the development of products and customised solutions for optical applications, lithography, astronomy, optoelectronics, architecture, and the humanities, we are seeking a Process Machining Engineer (M/F) for a permanent position.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You manage all projects related to the industrialisation and optimisation of CNC machining processes, from analysing technical requirements to series production launch, including programming phases, process validation, and part qualification
• You coordinate interactions between machining workshops, methods, quality, maintenance, and clients to ensure robust, efficient manufacturing solutions that meet the highest precision requirements
• You develop, standardise, and improve manufacturing methods, CNC programmes, operating sequences, and setup procedures to ensure reliable, repeatable production that complies with industrial standards
• You optimise machining parameters, cycle times, tooling strategies, and cutting conditions to enhance productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and guarantee consistent part quality
• You lead continuous improvement initiatives in machining workshops based on Lean Manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and production data utilisation to sustainably strengthen industrial performance
• You act as the technical reference for CNC machining processes, support production teams during new manufacturing start-ups, ensure knowledge transfer, and oversee compliance with technical and quality requirements across all projects
  

You offer your new employer

• You hold a higher education degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, industrial production, or equivalent, with solid expertise in CNC machining processes and precision manufacturing technologies
• You have significant experience in industrialisation, CNC programming, manufacturing process optimisation, or managing machining workshops, ideally in a demanding high-precision environment
• You master technical English, enabling effective communication with suppliers, international partners, and clients in an industrial context
• You possess excellent knowledge of CNC machines, cutting tools, machining strategies, blueprint reading, geometric tolerances (GPS/GD&T), as well as Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
• You demonstrate natural leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a strong ability to unite technical teams around common goals of quality, performance, and industrial reliability
