For our maintenance department at the Bern printing centre, we are looking for an Operations Electrician* / Industrial Electrician* to work in a 3-shift system. What to expect:
In our newspaper printing plant, you are responsible for the electronic and electrical parts of our production equipment.
You take care of maintenance and inspection, various repair tasks and
fault rectification.
You independently carry out minor conversion and optimisation activities and
ensure the constant operational readiness of our systems.
After an introductory phase, you will work in a 4-shift system
(early/late/night/normal shifts) and occasionally at weekends.
In addition to good employment conditions and social benefits, you have 5 weeks
holiday (6 weeks from the age of 50) and many compensation days,
resulting from shift work.
What we are looking for:
You can enrich our team with relevant expertise from your
successfully completed vocational training as an electrician* or
automation technician* or certified electrical installer* (EFZ) (graduates are also very welcome!).
Alternatively, you have solid professional experience in a related
occupation – ideally in comparable production companies.
You can integrate well into an existing team and remain calm in hectic
situations.
You have good oral and written German skills.
