Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Ventilation for the independent handling of diverse ventilation projects in Central Switzerland. You will be responsible for the projects from calculation and work preparation through to installation coordination, acceptance, and billing, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant implementation. In addition to technical project processing, you will take on deployment planning of fitters, material procurement, and site coordination and maintain direct communication with clients, planners, and other project participants. The position combines sound ventilation technology knowledge with project responsibility and operational leadership.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of ventilation systems from order placement to acceptance and final billing
Technical processing and coordination of ventilation and air conditioning systems for new construction, conversion, and renovation projects
Responsibility for work preparation and installation planning as well as coordination of necessary internal and external resources
Creation of deployment and scheduling plans for fitters and ongoing control of installation work
Supervision and monitoring of construction execution regarding quality, deadlines, costs, and technical specifications
Preparation of customer offers, calculations, and cost estimates as well as processing of change orders
Execution of project-related material procurement including supplier inquiries, orders, and deadline monitoring
Coordination with clients, specialist planners, site managers, suppliers, and other building technology trades
Participation in construction, planning, and coordination meetings and follow-up on technical and scheduling issues
Ensuring execution in accordance with relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and technical specifications
Support for commissioning, functional checks, and acceptance as well as coordination of defect rectification
Responsibility for cost control, performance recording, and billing of customer orders
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as ventilation system builder EFZ or building technology planner EFZ ventilation
Further education as technician HF building technology, chief fitter ventilation, project manager building technology, or comparable qualification
Professional experience in project management and/or execution of ventilation systems
Sound knowledge in ventilation technology, work preparation, installation coordination, and material disposition
Experience in calculation, tendering, cost control, and project accounting
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and SWKI guidelines
Good knowledge of common ERP, calculation, and Microsoft Office applications
