Finance and Controlling Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF150,000 - 190,000Role:
In this role, you shape the future of a modern finance organisation, combining strategic development with the professional management of day-to-day operations. You report directly to the executive management, take a central role in the further expansion of the finance function, and influence decision-making processes with a high degree of personal responsibility. You are responsible for diverse projects and varied tasks in which you fully apply your entrepreneurial mindset and expertise in finance and controlling. You use short decision-making paths to act purposefully and continuously optimise structures, processes, and systems in the finance area. Prospectively, you open up development opportunities towards an international finance director or CFO role.
Responsibilities:
- You take overall responsibility for finance and accounting of the Swiss companies and coordinate collaboration with international group companies.
- In this role, you lead and further develop the financial accounting and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER.
- You plan and manage liquidity and cash management, prepare budgets, forecasts, and sound financial analyses.
- In this role, you are responsible for tax and VAT matters, develop the internal control system, and optimise financial processes.
- You act as the central contact person for auditors, banks, and external consultants and work closely with supply chain, human resources, and legal departments.
- As head of finance and controlling, you support executive management in strategic and financial matters and actively contribute to projects, company formations, and organisational developments.
Qualifications:
- You have a higher education in finance and accounting (e.g. federal diploma, expert in accounting & controlling, business administration FH or equivalent).
- You have several years of professional experience in finance and accounting in an SME and are very familiar with the closing process.
- You possess solid accounting knowledge, initial experience in consolidation, and good knowledge of Swiss tax and VAT law.
- You think analytically and entrepreneurially, work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and gladly take on responsibility.
- You convince with a high degree of personal responsibility, a hands-on mentality, and enthusiasm for further developing structures.
- You are highly communicative and have very good German and English skills.
