Leather Sector Quality Manager

Are you a quality team manager specialising in leather? Can you communicate at work in English? Then this position is made for you!

For our client, a company part of a group specialised in the materials sector and more precisely in leather, we are looking for a Leather Quality Manager (M/F) at 100% on a permanent contract.

Your tasks with your new employer

• You manage the quality of raw materials, finished products and processes
• You define and develop quality criteria, methods and standards
• You ensure the conformity of leathers and support the qualification of new materials
• You analyse non-conformities and complaints, identify root causes and manage corrective actions
• You are the preferred quality contact for watchmaking clients and partners
• You harmonise quality practices and manage the performance of sites in Switzerland and internationally
• You coordinate audits, tests, controls and quality laboratory activities
• You deploy a continuous improvement approach and strengthen operational excellence
• You manage, support and develop the Quality team

You offer your new employer

• You hold a higher education degree in Quality, Materials, Industrial Production, Luxury or an equivalent field
• You have strong experience in Quality within the leather, leather goods or luxury industry
• You possess in-depth expertise of leather, its processing and quality criteria
• You master the quality of raw materials and finished products as well as project management
• You have proven experience in team management and in a multisite and international environment
• You master quality tools and methods such as 8D, FMEA, PDCA, root cause analyses and audits
• You demonstrate leadership, a strong customer focus, analytical thinking and great decision-making ability
• You are rigorous, demanding, proactive and solution-oriented
• You have communication and negotiation skills
• You are proficient in professional French and English
