What you will learn and do according to the course

🧠 Design useful and sustainable installations for a heating course

• Understand how heating systems ensure comfort in buildings
• Participate in the design of sustainable heating systems
• Perform simple calculations (power, energy needs)
• Discover and compare different heating systems
• Understand current issues: energy savings, renewable energies, environmental impact

🧠 Design useful and sustainable installations for a ventilation course

• Understand how air circulates in buildings (comfort, health, energy)
• Participate in the design of efficient ventilation systems
• Size real installations (airflows, networks)
• Integrate concrete issues: energy saving, noise, fire safety

Common to both courses:

💻 Model real projects

• Use professional software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Draw and develop technical plans
• Visualise installations in 3D in real projects in Geneva
• Understand how a project goes from idea to realisation

🏗️ Be at the heart of the field

• Go to construction sites and see projects come to life
• Understand how systems are installed in reality
• Participate in work monitoring and installation testing
• Interact with the various project stakeholders

👉 Result: a complete profession, between technical work, fieldwork and real projects

Your profile

• Completed compulsory schooling (good level in maths recommended)
• Interest in technology, buildings and sustainable issues
• Comfortable with digital tools
• Enjoy technical drawing and computer work
• Good spatial vision
• Serious, precise, motivated to learn
• Team spirit
• Motivation to learn and commit to a demanding training
• Able to work in a team and communicate
