Clerk Coordination Accident and Disability Benefits (m/f/d)
How you contribute:
- Checking the obligation to provide benefits and calculating insurance benefits in the area of accident and disability insurance in compliance with legal, contractual, and internal guidelines
- Requesting and monitoring deadlines for recovery claims against accident insurers, disability offices, and other coordination offices
- Assessing and processing accident insurance rejections as well as accident and disability insurance decisions, including drafting appeals and legal opinions
- Collaborating with the medical advisory service and the legal department in case investigations
- Responding to written or oral enquiries from customers or service providers
- Supporting team colleagues with questions
- Collaborating and supporting across teams
- Carrying out additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor
Your profile:
- You have a commercial education or experience in the commercial field and ideally hold the federal specialist certificate as a health insurance specialist.
- You bring in-depth industry knowledge and expertise in health and accident insurance law and other social insurances – or you are willing to acquire this knowledge.
- You quickly recognise connections, think analytically, have a flair for numbers, and work carefully, precisely, and independently.
- You communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience, think entrepreneurially, take responsibility, and are confident in using PC applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You have excellent German language skills. Knowledge of English, French, or Italian is an advantage.
