Responsibilities:
- Carrying out procurement activities for technical components in mechanical engineering, considering costs, quality and delivery times.
- Negotiating prices, contract terms and delivery conditions with suppliers.
- Selecting and evaluating suppliers as well as continuous supplier development.
- Creating purchase orders and monitoring the ordering process until delivery.
- Identifying saving potentials and implementing cost reduction measures.
- Close collaboration with other departments such as development, production and logistics.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and guidelines in the purchasing process.
- Maintaining and updating supplier master data and purchasing contracts in SAP S/4 HANA.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical or commercial basic training.
- Further training as a purchasing specialist or technical commercial clerk with a federal diploma.
- Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in mechanical engineering.
- Sound knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA.
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness.
- Analytical and structured working style.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills.
- Fluent German and English skills.
