We are looking for a
Dipl. Expert in / Expert in Anaesthesia Care NDS HF as Vocational Trainer, 80 – 100 %
from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.Your tasks – our position
As a Dipl. Expert in / Expert in Anaesthesia Care NDS HF with vocational training function, you will work actively in adult and paediatric anaesthesia and simultaneously take on an important role in the practical training and further education of future specialists.
Clinical activity
- You ensure professional, safe, and patient-oriented care during regional and general anaesthesia.
- You work in both adult and paediatric anaesthesia, actively contributing your anaesthesiological expertise.
- You continuously monitor patients, recognise changes early, and respond appropriately to the situation.
- In emergency and crisis situations, you act in a structured manner and, together with the anaesthesia team, initiate the necessary measures.
- You support the safe and professional positioning of patients.
- You work closely with the medical service and other professional groups in the operating area and take on interdisciplinary tasks as needed.
Vocational training
- You accompany and support learners and students individually, appreciatively, and purposefully during their practical assignments.
- You plan and design learning sequences in everyday clinical practice and deliberately create situations where theoretical knowledge can be linked with practical experience.
- You promote the development of professional, methodological, social, and self-competence and accompany learners and students on their path to increasing independence and professional responsibility.
- You observe and assess learning progress and conduct structured status, learning, and evaluation discussions.
- You provide constructive feedback, support reflection processes, and promote a professional learning and error culture.
- You work closely with those responsible for vocational training, the nursing team, and the respective educational institutions.
- You actively contribute to the further development of practical training and training quality in anaesthesia care.
Your skills – our requirements
For this responsible dual role, we are looking for a professionally competent and pedagogically interested person who enjoys supporting people in their professional development.
- Diploma as Expert in Anaesthesia Care NDS HF or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
- Extensive professional experience and high expertise in anaesthesia care
- Pedagogical further training, e.g. SVEB certificate, or willingness to acquire a corresponding qualification
- Enjoyment in accompanying and supporting learners and students of different training levels and age groups
- Ability to design learning processes individually, recognise development potential, and provide constructive feedback
- Strong communication, reflection, and social skills
- Sense of responsibility, independence, and a structured way of working
- Experience in paediatric anaesthesia is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and active further development of training quality
- Good general IT user skills
- Very good German or French skills as well as knowledge of the other language
