Maintenance Manager (m/f/d) (80-100%)

To strengthen the team in the area of maintenance and production, we are looking for our client - a leading company in the field of industrial and medical gases - for a committed, conscientious and technically proficient individual as Maintenance Manager (m/f/d) at the production site in the Utzenstorf / Koppigen area.

 

In this role, you will take responsibility for the preventive as well as corrective maintenance of the production facilities (ASU) and ensure a safe, efficient and smooth operational process.

• Work location: Area Wiler near Utzenstorf (Canton Bern)

• Workload: 80-100% (weekly working hours: 41 hours at 100%)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Maintenance planning: Independent planning, organisation and coordination of all preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance measures for the air separation units (ASU).

• Operational excellence & safety: Ensuring a safe, reliable, quality-compliant and environmentally friendly operation of all maintenance activities on site.

• Project & turnaround management: Coordination and technical support for technical modifications, on-site engineering projects as well as participation in turnaround management (TAR).

• Process optimisation: Driving continuous process improvements using your affinity for automated systems to increase plant efficiency and availability.

• Documentation: Maintenance, updating and provision of all plant documentation, including operating manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• On-call duty & deputising: Taking over and participating in on-call duty to ensure uninterrupted gas supply as well as deputising for the plant manager when required.
  
  
   

Knowledge & Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Education: Successfully completed technical training or technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering or systems engineering; FH/HF/HF diploma).

• Professional experience: Solid practical experience in maintenance within a process-oriented industrial environment (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, process engineering or gas industry).

• Technical understanding: Good understanding of process engineering plants and components (e.g. compressors, pumps, turbines, distillation columns as well as pneumatics and hydraulics).

• Language skills: Business fluent German (level C1) as well as very good English skills (level C1) for international and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Personality: Solution- and implementation-oriented personality with a strong safety awareness, high personal responsibility and structured working method.
