Senior Consultant Urologist Urology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Independent surgical activity focusing on complex endourology and minimally invasive andrology at the Olten and Solothurn locations
• Responsible outpatient clinic activity at both main locations as well as occasionally at the satellite locations Balsthal and Grenchen
• Supervision and co-care of inpatients
• Guidance, supervision and training of senior and assistant doctors
• Participation in the senior medical service system and clinic management
• Contribution to the professional and strategic development of the clinic

Profile

• Specialist title in Urology FMH or equivalent, recognised further training in Switzerland (including MEBEKO recognition for foreign diplomas)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a senior or comparable senior medical position after obtaining the specialist title
• Experience in urethral surgery and prosthetics welcome
• Leadership skills and enthusiasm for the training and education of younger colleagues
• Interest in scientific work desirable but not a prerequisite
• High professional and social competence with a patient-centred approach
