For a leading Swiss company in poultry production and food processing, we are looking for a

Deputy Head of Engineering (m/f/d)

with the prospect of becoming Head of Engineering

Your Tasks

• Deputising for the Head of Engineering in daily operational business
• Ensuring availability and operational safety of production facilities
• Planning, coordinating and carrying out maintenance and repair work
• Active participation in maintenance and technical work
• Contributing to optimisation and investment projects in production
• Leading and further developing the engineering and maintenance team
• Gradual assumption of leadership responsibility with a view to heading Engineering

Your Profile

• Completed basic technical training (e.g. mechanic, automation technician or equivalent)
• Further training in the technical field (e.g. technician HF, master craftsman or equivalent) advantageous
• Several years of professional experience in engineering or maintenance of a production company
• Operational experience with production and industrial plants
• Leadership experience or experience in coordinating teams
• Independent, solution-oriented and responsible working style
• Assertiveness as well as team and communication skills
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
