About the job
Introduction
The Riviera Security Municipal Association (ASR) is a pioneering regional public security organisation embodying a new form of public action, bringing together several emergency services:
- Riviera Police
- Riviera Ambulance
- Riviera Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS)
- Riviera – Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Civil Protection Organisation (ORPC)
In addition to these operational areas, there is the Management and Support Services, which form a cross-functional administrative entity.
Created in 2007 following the merger of the various emergency services active in the Vaud Riviera territory, the ASR now has 250 professionals and nearly 750 reservists (civil protection duty personnel and volunteer firefighter-rescuers). All combine daily commitment and a sense of service, quality and reliability of actions, proximity and a spirit of partnership, serving the population.
The ASR is responsible for local security in the nine partner municipalities that make it up, namely Blonay - Saint-Légier, Chardonne, Corseaux, Corsier, Jongny, La Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux, Vevey and Veytaux. It covers a population basin of nearly 85,000 inhabitants. Our Regional Civil Protection Organisation also operates through a service contract for the municipalities of Château-d’Oex, Rossinière and Rougemont.
To strengthen its Support Services, the ASR is looking for a Legal Advisor, whose role will be to provide legal advice to the ASR and its services, ensure the legal security of its activities and represent the institution before external bodies when necessary.
