Specialist Nurse in Charge (a)

What the professional daily routine looks like

• Responsibility for professional development on the assigned wards, in collaboration with the Department of Nursing Research and Clinical Practice
• Co-responsibility for the implementation of ward objectives, ensuring nursing quality and guaranteeing the sustainability of Lean Hospital
• Advising and coaching staff as well as introducing, training and implementing nursing guidelines, instructions and concepts
• Member of the ward management committee in the sense of Shared Governance
• Defined participation in the direct care of patients

Skills and potential

• Diploma as a qualified nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree or currently studying
• Experience in surgical and/or orthopaedic nursing
• Assertive personality with good organisational skills and a high sense of responsibility
• Enthusiasm and excellent team player qualities
• Enjoyment of a varied and lively hospital routine
