About the job

For an owner-managed Swiss company in industrial machinery and plant engineering, we are looking for a personality who not only programmes automation but understands plants as a whole.

The company develops and implements customised plant solutions for demanding production and process environments. It is not about serial machines, but individual projects with technical depth, a lot of variety and direct influence on implementation.

Development, design, assembly, switch cabinet construction, automation and commissioning work closely together. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys thinking along, works in a structured way and takes pleasure in accompanying technical solutions from software to the running plant.

Your tasks

• New development and further development of automation solutions for customised plants
• Programming and testing of PLC software, mainly with Siemens TIA
• Creation of visualisations, e.g. with WinCC Unified
• Further development of existing standard software
• Creation of function descriptions as well as technical documentation
• Commissioning and testing of plants internally as well as occasionally on site at the customer
• Close cooperation with design, electrical engineering, assembly and project management

Your profile

• Technical basic training in the field of automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
• Several years of experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA, SCL and FBD
• Knowledge in automation technology, control systems and industrial software development
• Advantageous: Experience with JavaScript and/or GMP
• Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for customised solutions
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
