Gastrag AG has been one of the leading companies in Swiss concept catering since 1968. With over 300 employees, 18 restaurants and 2 hotels, we develop our strong brands such as "Papa Joe’s", "Mister Wong", "Mr. Pickwick Pub" and "Da Roberto" on a long-term basis.

For this key position, we are deliberately looking for a strong leadership personality aged 35 or older, who inspires people and thinks entrepreneurially.

Your mission

As Operations Manager, you lead the managers of several establishments, drive our entrepreneurial success, ensure compliance with our concepts and process architecture, and bear budget responsibility. You are regularly on site, identify potential, enforce standards, and ensure that our guests enjoy an outstanding experience every day.

Your tasks

• Leading the managers of several catering establishments.

• Active presence at the front, where our guests are. You will spend 4 days a week in establishments in various German-speaking Swiss cities. Your working hours are based on the needs of the establishments and customers.

• Responsibility for sales, costs and budget achievement

• Optimising quality, guest experience and operational processes

• Ensuring compliance with our brand standards

• Recruiting and developing managers

• Implementing marketing and sales activities in the establishments

• Analysing relevant key figures and initiating effective measures

• Close cooperation with management, marketing and central specialist departments

You bring with you

• Several years of leadership experience in hospitality or hotel industry

• Ideally experience as managing director or operations manager

• 35 years or older

• High initiative, structured working style and strong willingness to perform

• Entrepreneurial thinking and strong decision-making skills

• Very good knowledge of the hospitality market and customer needs

• High social competence as well as the ability to motivate and develop people

• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility

• Very good German skills, English an advantage
