For an established technology company in Herisau, we are looking for a technically skilled and precise individual for demanding measurement, testing and quality assurance tasks in a modern industrial environment.

Quality Inspector Metrology (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Carrying out measurements and tests according to the test plan
• Documenting test results and decisions in Babtec
• Deciding on acceptance or rejection of test lots
• Final inspection of production items on Keyence LM-X100 and IM-X1000 as well as support with further measurement and testing processes
• Recording test plans and entering measurement data into Babtec
• Processing error messages in BABTEC and developing corrective actions based on PDCA
• Supporting the four-eyes control principle
• Supporting KVP, SFM, IdM and UMS requirements
• Ensuring cleanliness and order according to 5S

Your Profile

• Technical or mechanical basic training, preferably as a machine, poly or precision mechanic
• Further training in quality assurance is an advantage
• Experience in QA and testing processes
• Knowledge of Babtec and SAP is an advantage
• Good PC and ERP skills, especially SAP and Office
• Understanding of industrial production processes and workflows
• Precise and clean work according to specifications
• High personal responsibility and reliability
• Communication skills and resilience
