In this role, you are part of the Claims division, within the Claims Inspectors team, at Zurich Switzerland.

This responsible position within the external service allows you to place our clients at the heart of your actions. You handle complex claims in the areas of property insurance, construction, and general liability, including corporate, professional, and principal liability.

You seek creative and fair solutions and appreciate making decisions independently. In the most demanding interactions, you stand out through your expertise and ability to assert yourself, while remaining attentive to the situation of those involved.

Your tasks

• Handle claims cases independently with involved parties such as policyholders, injured parties, lawyers, and insurance companies
• Organise expert assessments and collaborate with internal and external experts
• Manage correspondence related to claims handling
• Assess insurance coverage and liability in claims cases
• Review recourse claims, negotiate with involved parties, and process claims payments

Your profile

• Training in the insurance field; a federal insurance certificate or diploma from a higher insurance school is an advantage
• At least five years of professional experience in claims management in property and liability insurance, as a claims inspector or claims manager
• Excellent negotiation skills and confident presence
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, combined with strong customer focus, reliable and communicative personality, and good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent command of French; good knowledge of German is an advantage

Workplace: Zurich General Agency Sion, Valais

Start date: from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement

Business travel: up to 50% per year, driving licence required

Hybrid work: up to 40%
