BSc Nursing Student (Additional Module B) on the IMC Platform

In the new Anna-Seiler-Haus, the Intermediate Care Units of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery and Cardiology, the interdisciplinary IMC of Intensive Care Medicine with Neurosurgery and Visceral Surgery, and the Stroke Unit are organised on one platform. The platform is characterised by interdisciplinarity and close collaboration between the various specialties. Patient care, education, and research are of high priority to us and are inseparably linked.

What to expect

On our lively IMC wards, we offer you the opportunity, following your Bachelor’s degree, to consolidate your role as a Bachelor-level nurse through an internship. Our offer is based on the recommendations of the Bern University of Applied Sciences and comprises 90% activity in nursing practice and 10% for structured learning and teaching. The internship lasts 10 months. You have the possibility to switch between specialties on the platform or to complete only part of the internship in the IMC.

What you bring

You have completed your Bachelor’s degree in nursing and wish to deepen your knowledge further. You have talent and interest in operating medical devices and are a reliable, professionally competent, friendly, and resilient individual.
