• Responsible for the technical support and engineering of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures
• Develops data transmission, communication and remote control systems further and

creates system architectures and concepts, including for WAN, telephony and remote control technology

• Ensures studies, requirement specifications, preliminary projects as well as cost and
• effort estimates for new and refurbishment projects
• Supports project management in technical matters in the field of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures
• Supports Level 1 and Level 2 support during the operational phase in fault analysis
• Supports the management system-compliant implementation of occupational safety, health and environmental protection

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in telecommunications or equivalent education
• Very good knowledge of relevant communication technologies (fibre optics, WDM, IP,

MPLS, VoIP, etc.)

• Good knowledge of secondary technology in substations
• Competent in planning, realisation, commissioning, maintenance or operation in the field of telecommunications
• 4-5 years of experience in telecommunications
• SharePoint; trouble ticket system; Microsoft Office products
• German - native language; French or Italian - basic knowledge
