Mandated by our client, we are looking for a
Setter-up Operator
- Ideally holding a Federal VET Diploma as a Mechanic, Swiss-type Lathe Operator or Polymechanic
- In-depth knowledge of Swiss-type turning, its issues and methods
- Knowledge of English or German to ensure technical exchanges with our clients
- Structured and methodical
- Good communicator
- Interested in learning new technologies
- Prepare and install machines and their peripherals
- Create setup documentation with the help of the preparation office
- Perform machine setup and part validation (no production)
- Calculate times/cycles
- Conduct and analyse machining, tooling and machine tests
