Internship 3+1 (BEM) Bank Entry after Matura

Bank WIR offers HMS-/WMS-/Gymnasium students who are preparing for the federal vocational certificate as a commercial clerk and the commercial baccalaureate (BM) in the 3+1 model an exciting and varied career entry.

The BEM training course lasts 18 months, compared to a normal internship in the HMS-/WMS 3+1 model which lasts one year. In return, you will also receive the BEM certificate (Bank Entry after Matura) at the end. Over one and a half years, you will gain practical experience and quickly take on responsibility. Alongside practical training, you will learn the theoretical foundations of your profession through CYP (Challenge Your Potential).

Your Mission

• Versatile deployment: You will be active in administration, front office and the branch, gaining a comprehensive insight into the operation.
• Payment transactions: You will support us in e-banking, managing debit cards, 3a accounts and monitoring payments – all important tasks in the modern financial world.
• Document management: You will check loan applications and contracts, ensure correct documentation and help ensure all processes run smoothly.
• Branch work: You will advise corporate clients, conduct discussions and ensure our customers feel well cared for.
• Advisory centre: You will advise our customers by telephone on our first-class products and services.

What You Bring

• Commercial / business school or gymnasium
• Age: 18 to 25 years.
• Fluent German in spoken and written form.
• Solid interest in banking and financial topics.
• Interest in customer contact.
• High self-motivation and initiative.
• Strong team spirit and willingness to perform
