The Clair Bois Foundation is a private organisation benefiting from a service contract with the State of Geneva. At its six sites located in Pregny-Chambésy, Lancy (Child and Adolescent Division), Pinchat, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg and in the City of Geneva (Adult Division), it welcomes people with multiple disabilities. It also supports young people in initial training and employs a significant number of staff in adapted employment.

For its specialised school in Lancy, the Child and Adolescent Division is looking for:

A Socio-Educational Assistant

Job Description:

• Support children in daily life and in the specific interventions of their personalised project
• Actively participate in the animation of educational classes
• Collaborate on the quality of care and follow-up of the personalised project of the children entrusted to their group, in close cooperation with the multidisciplinary team
• Ensure relations with the parents of the children entrusted to the group in collaboration with the other referring educators and the management of the home
• Contribute to optimal information flow and the quality of links between the different professions within the institution
• Participate in the development of the Child and Adolescent Division

Qualifications:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a socio-educational assistant.
• Professional experience with children with disabilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in common computer tools.
• Swiss nationality or valid permit.
• Driving licence.
