Payroll Specialist with Social Insurance Focus (m/f/d)

In this role, you will take on varied payroll and HR service tasks and actively shape your areas of responsibility. You will work closely with a motivated HR team that supports you and relies on your expertise. Responsibilities:
- You are the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll and social insurance questions for the Ticino business unit Rapelli
- In this role, you maintain and manage personnel data in the HR systems and ensure high data quality
- As a Payroll Specialist, you independently carry out the monthly payroll processing and are responsible for year-end tasks including account reconciliations
- You manage the entire social insurance system as well as withholding tax and liaise with insurance companies, authorities, and offices
- In this role, you support payroll processing for other business units and contribute to smooth payroll operations within the ORIOR group
- As a Payroll Specialist, you work closely with local HR managers as well as internal and external parties, provide administrative support to the team leadership, and drive the optimisation and digitalisation of HR and payroll processes
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education with further training in human resources, social insurance, or accounting.
- You communicate confidently in German and Italian, both spoken and written.
- You have at least two years of professional experience in Swiss payroll processing and social insurance.
- You are well versed in Swiss social insurance and labour law and work carefully and precisely with numbers.
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and have experience with SAP SuccessFactors; knowledge of SAP HCM is an advantage.
- You have a strong IT affinity, enjoy digital processes and HR systems, and work in a structured, independent, team- and service-oriented manner.
