The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich treats and cares for mentally ill people of all ages. In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJPP) in Männedorf, children aged 5 to 15 with mental disorders are treated and cared for on two wards and a day clinic by an interdisciplinary team in a psychiatric-psychotherapeutic and milieu-therapeutically oriented setting. The Centre for Child Psychiatry "Brüschhalde" at the Männedorf site has a modern infrastructure with a generously designed outdoor area. It is located in a recreational area between the Pfannenstiel region and Lake Zurich.
The treatment offer for our young patients includes a ward for short interventions and therapies and three psychotherapy wards with different treatment focuses. Each ward has eight treatment places available.

Your Tasks
- Active support of children and adolescents in their daily lives as well as in acute situations
- Ensuring nursing and social pedagogical care in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
- Interprofessional work with parents, core teams and reference systems
- Internal organisation and coordination of emergency admissions (short intervention and therapy area)
- Active shaping of a resource-promoting milieu-therapeutic treatment setting
- Assistance in the training of apprentices and students on the ward
Your Profile
- Completed, recognised vocational training in the HF/FH field (recognition certificate for foreign qualifications)
- You place patients at the centre of your work
- Professional experience in the psychiatric field, preferably with children and adolescents
- Enjoyment in actively participating in the development process of the newly designed offer
- Independent working, a solution-oriented attitude and resilience characterise you
- Willingness to work various shifts on all weekdays (mainly early and late shifts)
