Senior Client Representative in Building Construction (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced individual for the client representation and client consulting of demanding building construction projects. You will accompany complex construction projects from strategic orientation through planning and realisation to commissioning, consistently representing the interests of the client. The focus is on controlling costs, schedules, and quality, coordinating all project participants, as well as contract and change management for larger investment projects.
Responsibilities:
Assuming client representation and client consulting for complex building construction projects across all relevant project phases
Managing large projects with an investment volume of over CHF 20 million regarding costs, schedules, and quality
Coordinating clients, planners, authorities, contractors, and other project participants
Supporting strategic project development as well as the planning, approval, realisation, and commissioning phases
Responsibility for contract, change, and claim management and preparing well-founded decision bases
Controlling and monitoring project budgets, schedules, quality requirements, and project risks
Advising clients, management, and investors on technical, economic, and organisational issues
Ensuring project execution according to relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction and planning processes
Supporting planner and contractor awards and evaluating offers and contract bases
Integrating sustainability requirements and economic objectives into project management
Preparing and leading project, steering, and decision-making committees
Representing the client towards authorities, planning teams, and executing companies
Qualifications:
Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, real estate management or a comparable field
At least 8-10 years of professional experience in managing demanding building construction projects in Switzerland, ideally with several years of experience in client representation or client consulting
Experience with large projects over CHF 20 million as well as sound knowledge in cost, schedule, quality, contract, and claim management
Very good knowledge of Swiss planning, approval, and construction processes as well as relevant SIA standards
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
