Exclusively for our client, we are seeking an analytical personality with experience in procurement.

Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

In this versatile role, you will take on strategic responsibility for defined procurement categories and represent purchasing in development, industrialisation, and relocation projects. In doing so, you make a significant contribution to ensuring costs, quality, availability, and sustainability along the entire supply chain.

Actively shape the future:

• Strategic responsibility for securing and further developing material and service areas
• Support and expansion of supplier relationships as well as active sourcing of new business partners
• Conducting and concluding negotiations based on contracts or further commercial agreements
• Analysis of cost, market, and performance indicators as well as identification and implementation of optimisation potentials
• Collaboration in cross-departmental projects and coordination of procurement-relevant activities
• Preparation of evaluations, reports, and decision-making bases for internal stakeholders

What you bring:

• Completed business administration training as well as basic technical knowledge
• Ideally, further qualifications in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment managing supplier relationships, procurement activities, and procurement projects
• Very good German and good English skills as well as confident handling of ERP systems and common Microsoft Office applications
• Analytical and structured working style, strong cost awareness, high initiative, negotiation skills, and communication strength
