About the job
Industrialisation of sophisticated technologies – from the process idea to stable series production.
Matti Technology AG in Sulgen develops and realises highly automated production systems for international customers. Mechanics, automation, control technology and software are combined into powerful industrial overall systems. For the establishment of a new production facility in the field of future-oriented energy technologies, we are looking for an experienced, practice-oriented individual who thinks holistically about processes and successfully transfers technical solutions into industrial application.
Process Engineer / Industrial Engineer
You develop and design automated manufacturing processes and accompany their implementation from conception to successful production ramp-up. In doing so, you define process sequences, cycle times, material flows and plant layouts and ensure an optimal interplay of the individual production steps.
In close cooperation with development, automation and external plant suppliers, you develop technical requirements, assess solution concepts and accompany their realisation. You ensure that product quality, process stability and economic efficiency are in harmony. During commissioning and production ramp-up, you analyse bottlenecks, optimise processes and continuously develop the manufacturing processes.
Your profile
You have a higher technical education (FH/ETH) in mechanical engineering, production technology, mechatronics, or a comparable field. Your practical experience in planning and industrialising automated manufacturing processes or production lines is crucial.
You are familiar with cycle time calculations, material flow, plant layouts and the optimisation of industrial production processes. Ideally, you have already accompanied automation projects from conception through collaboration with plant suppliers to commissioning or series ramp-up. Knowledge in precision manufacturing, automated material handling or processing of sensitive materials are must-have criteria.
You combine analytical and methodical thinking with a strong practical orientation, communicate confidently in German and have good English skills. An independent, reliable working style as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration complete your profile. Your place of residence is in Switzerland, and you are prepared to work predominantly on-site in Sulgen and open to international travel of about 10%.
What is offered to you
You can expect a versatile key role in the establishment of a new, technologically demanding production. You actively shape processes and production systems and experience the implementation of your solutions directly in practice.
Short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility and collaboration with experienced specialists offer you an attractive environment in an innovative, owner-managed Swiss technology company.
