Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our team as soon as possible with a:

Junior Sous Chef Banquet / Deputy Kitchen Chef in the Banquet Area (m/f/d)

• As Junior Sous Chef Banquet, you support the management of our banquet kitchen team and lead by positive example to make our guests’ mouths water

Your main tasks:

• As our Junior Sous Chef Banquet, you are not only a master of success but also keep a cool head during large events and high guest volumes!
• Our kitchen team is passionate about developing flavours and igniting a culinary firework that exceeds expectations and creates unforgettable moments for our guests
• You assist in the planning, organisation, and operational execution of our extensive banquet and event business
• Cooking is your passion and your creativity elevates the quality of our ingredients to a new level, always with an eye for high standards
• You support the Executive Chef and management team in controlling food costs, inventories, and ensuring efficient workflows in the banquet area
• Together with your team, you ensure the highest quality and hygiene standards as well as smooth operations during events
• You are part of a team that passionately delivers incredible service and believes that everything is achievable – all while having fun at work!

Qualifications

You bring the following:

• You have experience in the kitchen area, ideally in banquet, event, or large kitchen operations, as well as strong supervisory and management skills with a practical approach and a working style that leads by example
• Good German and English skills
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to find creative solutions and provide advice and recommendations
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
• You are open to digital tools and quickly familiarise yourself with new systems
• Strong communication skills
