What is my role?

Implementation and monitoring of requirements from the food standard IFS, customer requirements as well as legal regulations in the quality management system
Overall responsibility for the HACCP system according to Codex Alimentarius including maintenance and further development of the HACCP plan, conducting hazard analyses, creating and updating flow diagrams, verification as well as conducting HACCP rounds and approvals
Conducting and maintaining food fraud assessments and deriving measures
Support in the further development, maintenance and effectiveness monitoring of the quality management system
Preparation, execution and support of internal and external audits as well as follow-up of corrections and corrective actions
Creation of QA reports and evaluations, including topics on product protection as well as crisis and emergency management
Creation, maintenance and delivery of training on quality and product safety relevant documentation and requirements
Support and professional contact point for service providers in the area of cleaning agents and pest control
Active promotion, implementation and further development of the food safety culture within the company

What do I need to be successful?

Completed training in food technology, quality management or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in quality assurance and/or quality management, ideally in the pet food or food environment
Sound knowledge of the food standard IFS and HACCP
Experience in a professional responsibility is desirable
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
Structured, independent and responsible way of working
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
