Your Work Environment
As Head of Interior Fitting and Assembly, you take overall responsibility for our projects in kitchens, interior fitting, and joinery – from planning to successful handover. You lead the assembly team, coordinate external partners, and ensure that deadlines, quality, and costs are always under control. You are the central contact person for site managers, architects, suppliers, and customers and continuously develop the department.
We are looking for a technically skilled all-rounder with broad expertise in interior fitting. Someone who understands various trades, accompanies projects from preliminary planning through purchasing and planning to assembly coordination, and acts as the central interface between site management, craftsmen, and suppliers. The key is not specialisation in a single trade but a generalist understanding of the entire interior fitting. This clearly distinguishes the position from a classic joiner or purchaser and targets exactly the audience you are seeking.
Your Role
Leadership & Organisation
Technical and personnel leadership of the interior fitting department
Leadership, deployment planning, and further development of internal and external assemblers
Coordination and management of external assembly and craft companies
You take on site supervision as needed and ensure compliance with our quality standards
Ensuring efficient resource and capacity planning
Responsibility for quality, deadlines, occupational safety, and productivity
Optimisation and further development of processes, standards, and workflows
Project Management
Overall responsibility for demanding interior fitting, kitchen, and joinery projects
Planning of kitchens, built-in cupboards, and individual interior fitting solutions
Project-related cost calculation and budget monitoring
Deadline, quality, and cost control throughout the project duration
Conducting measurements and technical clarifications on site
Coordination between client, architects, site management, production, and assembly
Organisation and supervision of all assembly work
Conducting site inspections and acceptance procedures
Responsibility for complete project billing and post-calculation
Purchasing & Procurement
Obtaining and comparing offers
Purchasing all materials for interior fitting
Negotiating prices and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
Checking order confirmations and monitoring delivery dates
Ensuring economical material procurement
You coordinate material orders and ensure economical material management on construction sites
Your Qualifications
Completed training in main or secondary construction trades, for example as a joiner EFZ, kitchen fitter, floor or parquet layer, tiler, painter, metalworker, glazier, or comparable craft training
Several years of professional experience in interior fitting as well as sound knowledge of various trades (e.g. kitchens, doors, joinery work, floor coverings, tiling, painting, glass partitions, or locking systems)
Experience in preliminary planning as well as technical planning and coordination of interior fitting projects
Experience in purchasing, material procurement, and collaboration with suppliers and craft partners
Technical understanding of construction processes as well as good knowledge of relevant standards and requirements in interior fitting
Experience in leading employees as well as coordinating external partners and temporary teams
Strong organisational skills and experience in coordinating internal and external assembly teams
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Confident use of MS Office; CAD knowledge is an advantage
Driving licence category B
Your Benefits
Challenging, varied projects with high personal responsibility
Dynamic, innovation-friendly environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths
Attractive remuneration and benefits packages that reward performance and commitment
Clear development prospects (towards overall project management, client representation, or executive management)
Promotion of further training and professional qualifications
Modern work equipment and technology-oriented processes
