What you will achieve.
- As an Industrial Specialist Technician, you carry out demanding refurbishment, maintenance work, repairs and overhauls on various components, mainly bogies, of diesel and special vehicles.
- You replace and inspect various components and implement control and modification orders according to SBB specifications. You recognise deviations early and document your work thoroughly.
- If necessary, you manufacture special constructions and thus contribute significantly to smooth railway traffic in Switzerland.
- You actively participate in continuous improvement processes, measure and document process steps, and keep your work clean and comprehensible.
- Within the team, you contribute economical solutions and constructive improvement proposals.
What you bring with you.
- You are flexible, open to change and appreciate a varied and versatile working environment.
- A quick grasp, high willingness to learn, as well as a pronounced safety and quality awareness characterise you.
- You have completed a recognised vocational training EFZ in a manual profession (e.g. polymechanic, production mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, car mechanic) and have several years of experience in an industrial environment.
- For this role, you bring the necessary physical fitness and resilience and meet the requirements for safety-relevant work (no colour vision deficiency).
- Additionally, you have good oral and written German or French skills (at least B1).
