Are you an expert in Cyber Security with a trained eye for security threats? Do you want to actively contribute to defending against cyber attacks and work in a state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC)? Then become part of our team and bring your expertise in Threat Detection, Incident Response and Forensics!
Responsibilities:
Analysis and triage of cyber security incidents within the SOC & SIEM platform
Proactive threat detection through continuous monitoring of security-relevant log sources
Incident response & mitigation: coordination and implementation of security measures to reduce risks
Creation of security reports & analyses to identify attack patterns and minimise risks
Conducting malware analyses & forensic investigations of network activities, memory and disk data
Operation and optimisation of SOC technologies such as SIEM, EDR and threat intelligence platforms
Collaboration with customers and internal teams for prevention, detection and defence against cyber attacks
Willingness to work shifts & on-call duty to ensure 24/7 security monitoring
Qualifications:
Completed degree in cyber security, computer science or a comparable field
At least 3-5 years of experience in IT security, incident response or SOC operations
Solid knowledge in network security, endpoint security, operating systems and forensics
Experience with SIEM technologies (e.g. Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar) as well as security tools like EDR and IDS/IPS
Strong analytical skills for detecting and combating cyber threats
Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
Very good German and English skills spoken and written
Impeccable reputation due to high security requirements
