Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Role:
Our client is the Swiss subsidiary of an internationally active industrial group and is one of the leading providers of innovative technical solutions. The company impresses with short decision-making paths, a modern working environment and offers the opportunity to actively shape financial and business processes.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for finance and accounting including general ledger, financial statements and reporting
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as management reporting
Responsibility for budgeting, forecasts, liquidity planning and controlling
Further development and digitalisation of financial and business processes
Support and optimisation of ERP processes as well as expansion of reporting and controlling tools
Contact person for auditors, authorities as well as external financial and business partners
Participation in and management of cross-departmental projects for process optimisation
Professional leadership and coordination of a small team in the areas of finance and accounting, back office, purchasing, logistics and IT/e-commerce
Close cooperation with management on business management issues and strategic decisions
Qualifications:
Advanced training in finance and accounting or business administration (HF, FH or university) and ideally further training as a Swiss federal specialist in finance and accounting or Swiss federal diploma expert in accounting and controlling
Several years of professional experience in finance, controlling or business operations within an industrial or trading company
Sound knowledge in financial statement preparation, budgeting, controlling and liquidity planning
Experience with ERP systems as well as a strong IT affinity in the area of digitalisation and process optimisation
Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
