The Children’s Hospital Central Switzerland of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital (LUKS) is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Switzerland and provides care for the entire Central Switzerland region at the highest level. We are looking to strengthen our team from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

• In this responsible position, you will take on the professional and organisational leadership of our paediatric department. We care for patients from the entire spectrum of infectious and non-infectious diseases in childhood and adolescence in the catchment area of the whole of Central Switzerland.
• You are directly involved in patient care on the ward and actively participate in the general paediatric senior physician duty roster.
• You lead the senior physicians of the inpatient paediatrics and take responsibility for the continuous development of inpatient care, especially in the areas of Lean Hospital and digital transformation.
• LUKS is a university teaching and research hospital. In this sense, you are actively involved in the training, further education and continuing education in paediatrics and teach within the framework of the Joint Medical Master (paediatrics module).

Your experience

• You have a specialist title in paediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as several years of experience as a senior physician in general paediatrics.
• You are a clinically oriented professional with solid professional experience at a central hospital or university clinic.
• As a leader, you are characterised by high social and communication skills. Taking responsibility, reliability and integrity are among your strengths.
