The University of Applied Sciences for Business (HSW-FR) Freiburg is a member of the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO) and offers bilingual and trilingual programmes at Bachelor and Master levels.
Tasks and Areas of Responsibility
The person takes on all administrative and organisational tasks related to continuing education (Diplôme d'Études Avancées – DAS, Certificats d'Études Avancées – CAS, Microcertifications – MC and short courses), including course planning, support for lecturers and participants, as well as organising events related to continuing education.
Planning the annual continuing education offer
Managing registrations, checking admission documents, preparing and creating study contracts, regulations, class lists, etc.
Processing applications and ensuring participant support
Ensuring deadlines are met and checking the receipt of mandatory work before and after courses
Providing administrative support for certificate/diploma theses and final projects
Ensuring communication with lecturers (reminder emails for interventions, course materials, etc.)
Creating and summarising course evaluations
Collaborating with the communications department to regularly update the website and communication materials, including specific content for the continuing education social networks and information events
Creating and sending newsletters to continuing education participants
Preparing and organising events related to continuing education (graduation ceremonies, curriculum-integrated networking activities, and alumni events)
Your Profile
University degree in administration/organisation (Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent qualification)
Several years of professional experience in the administrative management of educational programmes
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team; team spirit and the ability to facilitate effective communication; versatility, initiative
Fluency in French or German as well as very good English skills (at least C1)
Good written communication skills and the ability to coordinate projects
Ability to analyse, summarise and process data
Confident use of IT and administrative applications (MS Office) and willingness to learn new platforms
Interest in adult education and confidence in dealing with diverse target groups
