SBB Cargo International is the market leader in European rail freight transport on the North-South axis. Thanks to our over 1,000 employees in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and France, we operate around 550 trains weekly from the North Sea ports to Italy and back. In doing so, we shift thousands of net tonnes from road to rail and make an active contribution to greater climate protection.

To strengthen our Controlling team at the headquarters in Olten, we are looking for a:

Specialist Controlling - Focus on Personnel Controlling (80-100%)

What to expect In this versatile role, you combine personnel controlling with exciting tasks in risk and contract management. You work closely with various departments and make an important contribution to well-founded decisions and the further development of our processes.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for personnel controlling of our international corporate group and continuously develop the corresponding key figures, analyses and reports.
• You coordinate international personnel reporting and prepare meaningful decision-making bases for managers, executive management and the board of directors.
• You analyse plan, actual and previous year variances, identify trends and derive concrete recommendations for action.
• You support production controlling in analysing cost, performance and productivity indicators.
• You participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as budgeting and forecasting processes.
• You support group-wide risk management and take on tasks in contract management.
• You work closely with colleagues in our European companies and contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects.

Your profile

• A business administration education at a university or university of applied sciences, or a commercial basic training with further education in finance and controlling.
• Professional experience in controlling, ideally in personnel controlling or in an internationally active company.
• Very good German and English skills; French or Italian skills are a plus.
• Very good Excel skills as well as experience with reporting and BI tools; knowledge of SAP FI/CO is an advantage.
• An independent, structured and reliable way of working as well as a high degree of initiative.
• Strong analytical skills, a quick grasp and enjoyment in dealing with numbers.
• Communication skills, team spirit, resilience, flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
