This position focuses on the independent execution of internal medicine diagnostics and therapy as well as the care of outpatient and inpatient patients. A broad medical spectrum is applied, covering both chronic and acute illnesses. Close interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialties is part of everyday life, as is participation in quality assurance and organisational processes. Sound internal medicine expertise and clinical decisiveness form the basis for responsible medical work at a high professional level. This role is aimed at experienced physicians seeking a challenging position with scope for initiative.
Responsibilities:
- You assume overall medical-therapeutic responsibility for the transdiagnostic care of children, adolescents, and their families.
- In this role, you clinically and diagnostically assess health status, determine indications, and are responsible for therapy planning and its implementation.
- As a specialist, you develop and optimise treatment concepts together with the multiprofessional team and implement them responsibly.
- You specifically manage the deployment of personnel resources and contribute to efficient team organisation.
- In close coordination with other areas of child and adolescent psychiatry, you ensure coordinated patient care.
- You actively promote the further training of assistant doctors and psychological assistants.
Qualifications:
- You hold a recognised specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or an equivalent qualification.
- You appreciate working in multiprofessional teams and act independently, responsibly, and with quick comprehension.
- You are committed to milieu-therapeutic work and recovery-oriented approaches.
- Your leadership skills combined with conceptual thinking enable continuous development of treatment concepts.
- You convince through your interest in innovative processes and your ability to actively shape them.
- Your structured working method allows you to maintain an overview even in complex situations and make well-founded decisions.
