ICT Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you actively design stable and high-performance network environments and ensure their smooth operation. You analyse complex network architectures, plan optimisations, and independently and systematically implement technical adjustments. You are responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network components, ensuring high availability and security of the infrastructure. Additionally, you evaluate new technologies, develop suitable solutions, and implement best practices for professional network operation. Through your clear documentation and professional exchange, you contribute decisively to the continuous improvement of the network landscape.
Responsibilities:
You implement projects in the areas of network, network security, and WLAN from implementation through integration and training to documentation
You take on technical project or subproject management
You operate and further develop customer networks, focusing on maintenance, optimisation, and fault resolution
You provide technical customer support and deliver 3rd-level support on-site and remotely
You take on product and technology responsibility upon request and contribute to standardisation
Additionally, you help design the architecture and conception of modern network environments
Qualifications:
You have training in computer science and at least 5 years of professional experience in the IT network field
You possess very good knowledge in networking (switching, routing, zoning concepts) as well as WLAN technologies
Ideally, you bring experience with firewall solutions
You are a service-oriented, team-capable personality with a high standard of quality
You show initiative, work in a structured manner, and gladly take on responsibility
You communicate confidently in German; English is an advantage, and you hold a category B driving licence
