Your tasks: Precision at the lathe

• Operating modern CNC lathes and machining centres with a clear focus on turning
• Active assistance in setting up the equipment
• Quality-compliant manufacturing of turned parts – from single pieces to medium-sized series
• Conscientious execution of first-piece and intermediate inspections directly in the series
  Independently making the necessary programme corrections
• Continuous monitoring and timely replacement of machining tools
  Thinking ahead and actively optimising existing manufacturing processes in the turning area
• Performing the weekly routine maintenance on the machines

Your profile: What you bring

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) or alternatively unskilled employees with at least 5 years of proven experience on CNC lathes, especially in series production
• Solid experience in chip-removal machining with a specialisation in turning
• Practical knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens controls is a great advantage
• Mandatory willingness to work in a two-shift operation
• An independent and extremely careful working style
• An uncomplicated and reliable personality
