The Company

Our client is a world market leader in its field. We are looking to complement the accounting team with a Group Accountant 80-100%

Your Tasks

• Coordination of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all companies
• Reporting using schedules and instructions
• Verification and review of the financial statements for compliance with various accounting standards, tax regulations and internal directives
• Continuous improvement process of reporting quality
• Preparation of consolidated accounts for the Condair Group including handling questions regarding intercompany reconciliation and elimination of unrealised profits
• Advising the finance departments of group companies and handling special cases in accounting
• Participation in the revision of accounting policies/directives as well as the internal control system (ICS)

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a finance department of an industrial company as well as solid experience in preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Bachelor's degree in finance, controlling, business administration
• Very good knowledge of the Swiss GAAP FER accounting standards
• Good knowledge of IBM Cognos Controller software
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP applications
• Fluent German and English skills
• Good communication skills and a high degree of initiative
