A cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
The Medical Directorate is seeking, for its adult department in the outpatient division, a:

Your mission
As the Psychologist Manager, alongside the medical head of the Outpatient service, you play a central role in the quality, coherence and development of psychological and psychotherapeutic care within your unit, sector or division.
Both an experienced clinician, supervisor and leader, you actively contribute to the evolution of practices, the training of professionals and clinical management, in close collaboration with medical management.
Your responsibilities
Organisation, management and development
- Participate in defining, implementing and monitoring the clinical and organisational objectives set by the CNP management and the department.
- Ensure, under medical delegation, the leadership, organisation and management of the service.
- Plan activities to guarantee the quality of care, continuity of support and working conditions favourable to the teams.
- Carry out specific mandates and lead assigned projects.
Clinical activity
- Develop and maintain direct and continuous clinical practice with patients.
- Conduct clinical assessments, psychological evaluations and therapeutic indications.
- Conduct integrated psychotherapeutic treatments and counselling interventions.
- Work closely with the internal and external interdisciplinary network.
- Participate in clinical reflection sessions, interdisciplinary meetings and departmental orientations.
Training, supervision and outreach
- Actively participate in postgraduate and continuing training of psychologists, doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide supervision and knowledge transfer roles.
- Contribute, according to your interests, to the institution's outreach (publications, conferences, participation in professional societies or committees).
Your profile
- University or HES degree in psychology.
- Postgraduate qualification in psychotherapy of a recognised orientation, in clinical psychology, neuropsychology or child and adolescent psychology (for at least 5 years).
- Proven experience of several years as a psychologist-psychotherapist.
- Previous experience in supervision and training.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss and cantonal health system.
- Comfortable with common IT tools.
- Collaborative leadership and ability to delegate.
- Strategic vision and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, pedagogical and communication skills.
- Analytical and synthetic mind, creativity and adaptability.
- Strong sense of ethics, discretion and teamwork.
