Role:
As a Senior System Engineer Infrastructure, you ensure that highly available IT systems run reliably and develop sustainably. You take professional responsibility for the operation, monitoring, and updating of central components and accompany the infrastructure throughout its entire lifecycle. You specifically expand existing environments and processes, actively drive ICT projects and innovations, and contribute your technical know-how in internal 3rd-level support. As a link between business, operations, and IT, you translate requirements into viable solutions and ensure stable, secure operation.
Responsibilities:
You are professionally responsible for the operation of critical infrastructures including updating, monitoring, and operating existing components
You continuously maintain, expand, and develop existing IT infrastructures and processes
You manage the lifecycle of all infrastructure components
You take project responsibility and actively drive innovations in the ICT environment
You act as the interface between business, operations, and IT
Additionally, you participate in problem management and support as an internal 3rd-level contact person
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in the IT field and have experience in the IT service environment
You bring several years of practical experience in IT infrastructure - server, network, and cloud (Microsoft Server and Active Directory, Citrix, network components, firewall solutions, M365, Azure)
You demonstrate high IT expertise and convince as a committed, authentic, and resilient personality
You have successfully led demanding IT projects
You document complex technical matters clearly and understandably
You hold a valid driving licence (category B)
